NOW ENROLLING FOR FALL 2019!

We are here to help your kids prepare for Kindergarten

Little Pines is designed for social, emotional, intellectual and spiritual development. We love kids and want to see them thrive in Kindergarten and beyond. We are a non-denominational, affordable and traditional preschool with 2 classes for 4-5 year olds.

We see our role as supplementing the important work that parents do in preparing their kids for elementary school, so they have the necessary skills to learn reading, writing and math in kindergarten.

Redemption Hill launched on the West Bench in 2017 and started Little Pines to serve the families that live nearby and need quality pre-schools for their little ones.

Send us an email or call us at 208-917-1843

Some faith components will be woven into the culture of the school but parents of any background are encouraged to enroll their kids and engage with as little or as much of the Redemption Hill Community that they prefer.

First Day of School

September 3rd, 2019

No backpacks are needed, we will have tote bags to bring back and forth every day. Please make sure your child has a clean set of clothes (including undies and socks) for just-in-case situations in a gallon zip lock bag with your child’s name on it. I will send home reminders every quarter to swap clothing based on weather and sizes.

Pictures!

Please send an individual picture of your child and one family photo. We will display the family photos in our family garden and the individual photo will help with name recognition and counting. Send pic with name to britt@littlepines.org

Homework

All I ask for homework is to read to your children and welcome them to read to you. Reading at this stage doesn’t mean they need to start sounding out the words right away. It can be as simple as talking about the pictures and encouraging them to use their imagination. Sounding out the words will come with practice.

Director: Brittany Worstell

I know Mrs. Worstell is a lot for little mouths to say, so I am going to go by Ms. B, which is short for Brittany. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for eleven years. We have four beautiful children whose ages range from two to ten, and a cat named Milli. One of our favorite things to do together is to get outdoors. If it's too cold, then a good comedy is what we love. Whether it is a funny card game or watching AFV with some popcorn in our jammas.

I decided I wanted to be a teacher when I was in sixth grade and I’ve worked hard to pursue this calling.  I graduated with my Associates in Child Development at BSU in June 2018 and jumped right in. I have worked in early childhood development since 2014 and I am looking forward to my first year at Little Pines. I am excited to watch your children learn and grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Here at Little Pines, we are blessed to be able to share a little bit about Jesus’ love and how he helps and protects us through life. We are going to have a great year!
