Who we are

We are a group of friends that join together as a community to learn to walk in the way of Jesus, and share what we learn with our friends and family.

who is redemption hill?

Our community is committed to partnership with a diverse group of Jesus followers from many traditions

so our statement of faith is historic, orthodox and evangelical in confession.

Our community comes from in and around Ada County, and focuses our outreach on the West Bench and neighborhoods where our Micro-churches gather. We now have 7 micro-churches and a preschool called Wonder School across the valley that partner with The Syndicate to live as missionaries that bless our city.

Redemption Hill is non-denominational, but we have some great relational networks that we partner with for mission and training. We are a part of the New Thing Network and the Ecclesia Missional Network, trained with the New Breed Network, have a great partnership with a few local churches including FBC BoiseRock HarborPassion BoiseRev 22, and help lead a church multiplication movement called The City Network.

VISION + MISSION

God is restoring all things to the way they were meant to be, and it starts with us being transformed into the people God wants us to be:

intimately connected with Him, following in the way of Jesus, and caring for the people around us.

What We Believe

Our community is committed to partnership with a diverse group of Jesus followers from many traditions, so our statement of faith is historic, orthodox and evangelical in confession. It is not exhaustive, but functions as a simple way of including some of the most important things we believe:

  • The Apostle's Creed

    I believe in God, the Father almighty,

    Creator of heaven and earth.

    I believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, our Lord,

    Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,

    Born of the Virgin Mary,

    Suffered under Pontius Pilate,

    Was crucified, died, and was buried;

    He descended to the dead.

    On the third day he rose again;

    He ascended into heaven,

    He is seated at the right hand of the Father,

    And he will come again to judge the living and the dead.

    I believe in the Holy Spirit,

    The holy catholic church,

    The communion of saints,

    The forgiveness of sins,

    The resurrection of the body,

    And the life everlasting.

    AMEN.

  • The Nicene Creed

    We believe in one God,

    the Father, the Almighty,

    maker of heaven and earth,

    of all that is, seen and unseen.

    We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,

    the only Son of God,

    eternally begotten of the Father,

    God from God, Light from Light,

    true God from true God,

    begotten, not made,

    of one Being with the Father.

    Through him all things were made.

    For us and for our salvation

    he came down from heaven:

    by the power of the Holy Spirit

    he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary,

    and was made man.

    For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;

    he suffered death and was buried.

    On the third day he rose again

    in accordance with the Scriptures;

    he ascended into heaven

    and is seated at the right hand of the Father.

    He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead,

    and his kingdom will have no end.

    We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,

    who proceeds from the Father and the Son.

    With the Father and the Son he is worshiped and glorified.

    He has spoken through the Prophets.

    We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.

    We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.

    We look for the resurrection of the dead,

    and the life of the world to come. Amen.

    Lausanne Covenant, The Cape Town Commitment and The Syndicate Core Values

    They are considered guiding principles for our faith and practice as an organization and as leaders.

    They connect us to the historic, one true universal church under the Lordship of Jesus, where we want to humbly learn from our global and historic brothers and sisters learning to faithfully live the way of Jesus in community.
